      <description>Former Barton County Community College pitchers Nate Field and Jason Stanford have joined another former Cougar, David Sanders, as pitchers in the Major Leagues. Field is on his 2nd stint this season with the Kansas City Royals after becoming the 1st Cougar ever to pitch in the Major Leagues last season. Stanford is in his first go-round in the big leagues, pitching for the Cleveland Indians. Sanders is currently with the Chicago White Sox.</description>

The wins against Colby gave Barton a 12-4 home record this season in the West.</description>
