High School/Club:
Austin comes to Barton from Omaha Burke High School where he was a two time letterman and starter as a pitcher. He earned a perfect 5-0 record as a senior to go along with a 1.00 earned run average. He was also 8-2 as a junior with a 1.17 ERA. Austin helped Omaha Burke to a district title in 2005 and a 3rd place finish in state. He was named 1st team All Metra and 2nd team All State as a senior. Austin also lettered in basketball as a junior.
