Barton Baseball drops twin bill to Garden City
The Barton Community College baseball team suffered a pair of losses on Saturday at Lawson-Biggs Field falling to Garden City Community College 8-3 and 14-6. The Broncbusters broke open the first game with a six run third inning before pulling away with ten runs in the final four innings pulling away with the sweep. The losses sent Barton to its sixth straight conference loss falling to 8-6 and 19-13 while Garden City moves into a first place tie at 13-5 and 28-8 on the season. The teams will play another doubleheader beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday to wrap up the four game series.
