Barton's Hendrickson earns conference hurler of the week award #GoBarton

Josh Hendrickson of the Barton Community College baseball team has been named the week three KJCCC Kansas MTXE Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

Hendrickson attacked the Rose State lineup this past Saturday, spinning a two-hit seven strikeout performance in his five innings of work. Retiring the first two batters in three of the innings, the Australian sophomore transfer sent the Raiders down in order twice to earn his first victory of the season.

Playing their first seven games on the road, the 4-3 Cougars' next game will come in their Lawson-Biggs Field home opener this weekend in a four-game set against Western Nebraska Community College. Saturday and Sunday doubleheader action begins with 1:00 p.m. first pitches.
