Cougars ranked No. 6 in men's poll
The Barton County Community College men's basketball team is ranked No. 6 in the first poll released by the NJCAA. The Cougars, which finished 7th at the NJCAA Tournament last season, are the highest ranked team from the Jayhawk Conference in the poll.

Indian Hills (Iowa) is ranked No. 1 in the poll while defending champion Wabash Valley College (Ill.) is ranked No. 5. Coffeyville is ranked No. 22 in the poll while Seward County comes in at No. 27. Butler County also received votes in the poll.
