Barton’s Downing earns 2nd team post-season honors.

Cougar Downing of the Barton Community College men's basketball team has been recognized by the region coaches in being selected to the 2nd Team of the All-KJCCC and All-Region post-season eighteen member list.
Averaging 19.4 points per game, Downing led the Cougars' season scoring and in 21-out-of-31 games played. Ranking second in region scoring, Downing reached double figure scoring in all but two games, eclipsing his average fourteen times including a program fourth best 42 points early in the season knocking off 12th ranked Odessa College.
Downing and the Cougars concluded the 2022 campaign at 17-14.
