Bio
Reuben Kester is in his first season as an assistant coach for the Barton Community College men's and women's soccer programs.
Kester joins the Cougars after serving as an assistant coach for Siouxland United FC in Sioux City, Iowa, during the summer. Prior to arriving at Barton, he competed during the 2025 fall season at Newman University before remaining with the Jets as a graduate assistant throughout the spring.
A native of Milton Keynes, England, Kester began his collegiate playing career at Randall University (Okla.) before transferring to Ottawa University (Kan.), where he completed his playing career while earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Management. He later earned a Master of Business Administration from Newman University.
Outside of soccer, Kester is an accomplished boxer and mixed martial artist, earning a bronze medal in jiu-jitsu at the 2017 Great British National Championship.
