Barton Cross Country competes at Neosho Invite #GoBarton
A five-pack of Cougars from the Barton Community College cross country program competed Friday evening at the NCCC Invite held at Chanute's Santa Fe Park.
Makiya Mosley was the lone Barton entry in the 5k women's race clocking a 35:34.46 in placing 31st.
Keandro Gordon led four Cougar men in the 8k race with a 30th placing in 32:01. 76. Shavan Jarrett's debut resulted in a 36th placing at 32:13.93, Jack Cole in 46th at 33:18.34, and Corlando Chambers rounding out the entries clocking a 35:49.58 for 55th place.
The Cougars will spend the rest of the fall season in preparation for post-season competing in the KJCCC/Region 6 Championships held Friday, October 24, in Colby.
