Bio
Koltyn Ratliff is in his third year as an assistant athletic trainer within Barton’s Sports Medicine program. He serves as the primary athletic trainer for the following programs, bowling, eSports, men’s soccer, tennis, track and field, and wrestling.
A native of Ness City, Kansas, Ratliff began his career in the Fall of 2020 as Assistant Athletic Trainer at Sterling College working with many different teams including football, men’s basketball, baseball, soccer, cheer and tennis.
Graduating in May 2018 from Sterling with a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree, Ratliff stayed with the Warriors in earning his Master of Science in Athletic Training degree in May 2020.
He completed the NATA’s Board of Certification requirements in July of 2020 and the requirements for his Kansas State Licensure in October of 2020.
Ratliff resides in Great Bend, Kansas, with his wife, Reagan, who serves as Barton’s head swimming coach.
