High School/Club
Flores was a 2-year letterman for Lincoln Southeast High School. His senior season he hit .360 with 30 RBI. Had a 5-0 record with a 2.10 ERA. Batted .453 and had 22 RBI as a junior. Also had a 3-0 record with a 2.17 ERA. Flores was on the honor roll for four years and a member of the National Honor Society.
