First year at Barton:
Kevin made 11 pitching appearances for Barton, 5 of those in a starting role. He finished the year with a 2-3 record and 8.51 ERA. He recorded 25 strikeouts in 24.1 innings pitched.
High School/Club:
While attending Seaman High School, Kevin started and lettered 3 years as a pitcher. He finished his senior year with 6 wins to just 1 loss, recording 59 strikeouts and an ERA of 2.43. As a junior, his record was 4-2 with an ERA of 2.31 and 48 strikeouts. With Kevin, Seaman won league titles in 2003 and 2004, along with a share of the league title in 2005, a 3rd place finish in state in 2005, and a state championship in 2004. Kevin was named 1st team All-City, 1st team All-League, and 2nd team All-State in 2004. After his senior season he was tabbed as 1st team All-City, 1st team All-League, and 1st team All-State.
