Cougar Baseball loses doubleheader to Dodge City
After falling 6-5 in game one, the Barton Community College baseball team dropped the second game of Saturday's Jayhawk Conference doubheader at Lawson-Biggs Field to Dodge City Community College. Holding a five run advantage, the Cougars gave up twelve unanswered including seven in the top of the ninth inning to lose 14-7. Barton falls to 7-15 in conference play and 12-26 overall while Dodge improves to 17-9 in conference play and 28-16 overall. The teams will meet again on Sunday for another doubleheader beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Lawson-Biggs Field.
