Cougars sweep Sunday’s doubleheader to split weekend series
The Barton Community College baseball team completed the sweep of Dodge City Community College Sunday at Lawson-Biggs Field pounding the Conquistadors 14-2. With Sunday's Jayhawk Conference victories, Barton improves to 9-15 in conference play and 14-26 overall while Dodge drops to 17-11 in conference play and 28-18 overall. The Cougars will hit the road for two mid-week games before returning to conference play on Saturday. Barton will take on Brown Mackie College at Junction City’s Rathert Stadium at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday before traveling to Hesston College on Thursday.
