"It was a solid performance for our first game of the season," said Head Coach Oliver Twelvetrees. "We created a lot of chances and conceded only one shot on goal for the game."
The Cougars were solid defensively as the Trappers only manages two shots all game. Offensively Barton launched fourteen shots with eight coming on goal.
"Diogo Quirino led and organized our back line very well and offensively Sam's seven shots created a danger for their defense all game," said Twelvetrees. "I'm very optimistic by the talent and teamwork we showed this could be a very successful season."
