No. 12 Cougars pull out double overtime road victory over Neosho
The No. 12 ranked Barton Community College men’s soccer team needed two overtimes to defeat Neosho County Community College 1-0 today in Chanute, Ks. The Cougars’ game-winning goal came off of David Lazarof’s volley from Ebu Camara with 2:07 left in double overtime. Barton improves to 7-1-1 on the season and remains undefeated in Jayhawk play at 4-0 while Neosho drops to 5-2-1 overall and 1-1-1 in conference play. Barton will stay in southeast Kansas tonight as the Cougars will play Independence Community College at 3:00 p.m. Sunday in Independence.
