Barton Women’s Soccer open ’13 season with late overtime loss to nationally ranked Navarro
The Barton Community College women’s soccer team dropped a tough contest Saturday, falling to No. 13 Navarro College 2-1 in overtime. Opening the 2013 season by playing the first of two games against ranked opponents this weekend in Tyler, Texas, the No. 14 NSCAA ranked Lady Cougars will next play No. 4 ranked Tyler Junior College on Sunday at 5:00 p.m.

Navarro got on the scoreboard first with an early goal before Bianca Barron found Molly Hausmann to tie it up with a little over thirty minutes left in the first half. Scoreless the rest of the game, Navarro got the game winner with seventeen seconds left in the first overtime session.
